The most asked question about science: Is science discovered or invented? Will there be a definitely true theory in science? I personally always think technology and science are mutually beneficial for each other. Technology is an appreciation of scientific theories in discoveries.

Rita Felski, the critic, focused on establishing the scientific system around critique. Her main argument is to read with no prejudice formed before and feel the authors' feelings and meanings through their expressions.

Arnold Pacey | The MIT Press

This book gives a definition of technology: the application of scientific knowledge in solving different organizations' and groups' problems. Technology's role are different dependent on cultures and human needs, such as bike can be used for transportation but also extreme sports.

The Social Construction of Technological Systems

Recommendation level: 5/5


This book is the pioneer of the Sociology of Technology and Science research. It deeply analyses how technology and science develop and are related to each other, the technology life cycle, as well as the impacts an improvement in technology and science brings to the social construction and lives of people.
